August 2024 updates

With much of our team enjoying a well-earned holiday, there were slightly fewer updates than usual. But don’t worry: we will be back at full speed in September with even more new features and improvements.

Registrations requiring approval

The registrations requiring approval feature has been updated. You can now prevent members from registering when they do not meet the age requirement. In that case, they will not be offered the option to request approval.

The available options are now:

• Members outside the age requirements require approval

• Do not allow members outside the age requirements

• All registrations require approval

Discounts and approval

Discounts were calculated immediately, which sometimes caused errors when a registration still required approval. For example, if someone registered for three courses and one still needed approval, the discount was already applied to all three. If that registration was later rejected, too much discount had been granted.
Discounts are now calculated only for courses that do not require approval. After approval, the discount calculation is applied again to the relevant registrations.

Notification for a registration requiring approval

If you enabled email notifications for new course registrations, you will now also receive a notification when a registration requires approval.
